Elle fut exécutée en lames de bronze montées sur une armature d’acier conçue par Gustave Eiffel. Les sculptures de dinandiers célèbres comme Jean Dunand, Maurice Perrier ou Hervé Mahler atteignent des sommes élevées sur le marché de l’art, ce qui n’est pas étonnant.
